The humantay lake is a very beautiful natural attraction of turquoise color at the foothill of the snowy mountain of the same name, located in the district of Mollepata in the route of the salkantay trek. without a doubt one of the best experiences of 1 day tour, where you can appreciate the variety of flora and fauna, during the hike you can observe the beauty of two imposing mountains, salkantay 6271 masl and humantay 5800 masl.
Itinerary
Itinerary Humantay lake:
For this tour the pick up will be from your hotel at 4:30 am, then we will go for an approximate of 2 and a half hours to the district of Mollepata where we will eat breakfast at a local restaurant.
After the nutritious breakfast we will continue in the same bus for 1 hour to the starting point of the hike (Soraypampa).
The hike will take approximately 2 hours to reach the lake, this secction will be uphill with some strategic stops to recover our energy.
Upon reaching the lake, you will have time to enjoy the magic and beauty of this place where the guide will give the appropriate information about this attraction. Then we will descend by the same road to the starting point to take the same bus back to Cusco making a stop in Mollepata to eat lunch. You will arrive to the city of Cusco at 6:00 pm approximately.
